G’DAY: Adele Was Dishing Out $20 Notes To The Crowd In Perth Last Night
Adele arrived in Australia fresh from cleaning up at the Grammys and is here to shout us Aussies some drinks – literally.
Playing to 65,000 fans at Domain Stadium in Perth last night, Adele was handed a t-shirt gun and fired merchandise with $20 notes attached into the crowd. She told the audience that the cash was there so they could “buy a drink” on her. All class.
After all, her gigs in 2016 earned the singer an average of $850,000 AUD profit per night. So a few loose notes here and there won’t be missed.
Going a step further, Adele befriended a seven-year-old girl who was grooving with her family up at the front. Between songs, she said to the youngin:
“hello! I can’t shoot this [t-shirt gun] at you or I’ll knock your head off.
Hi Katie, how old are you? You’re seven? You look beautiful. Thank you for dressing up for my show. You look absolutely lovely.“
The exchange was adorable and added to a completely flawless performance. The crowd were completely losing their shit from start to finish. It is Adele after all:

The excitement around Adele’s visit is all too real. Speaking to the crowd, the Brit also mentioned how difficult it was to rehearse for the gig because they were “being watched on by “f***ing helicopters“.
We don’t want to name names… but..

As it turned out, most of Perth were lucky enough to cop a free performance from the singer when she was practising for the gig. The generous acoustics of an open air Domain Stadium gave all those living nearby a taste of what was to come, with a bunch of chuffed fans uploading footage of their free live show from the comfort of home:
Does Adele has any idea that she's almost giving Perth free concert? ????
