Married At First Sight's Al Perkins Allegedly Joins Love Island AU

‘MAFS’ Icon Al Is Allegedly Joining Love Island AU And I Really Hope This Rumour Is True

Reality TV worlds are about to collide because ALLEGEDLY Al Perkins from Married At First Sight might be on the upcoming season of Love Island Australia, and my body is ready for the chaos.

ICYMI, Al Perkins was one of the faves from Season 9’s Married At First Sight, bringing us chaos at the dinner parties with his shoeys and funny boy, himbo personality. Though his time on MAFS was unsuccessful and he didn’t leave the experiment with his reality TV bride, Samantha Moitzi, he did get a cute bromance with Brent Vitiello out of it.

And now, according to the So Dramatic! podcast, a source has confirmed that the one and only shoey king has signed on for Love Island Australia. Paparazzi pics obtained by The Daily Mail show a familiar smile amongst bikini babes inside the Love Island villa, so with that confirmation, I’m kinda confident that Al is looking for love in Spain.

It’s also worth mentioning that Al has been quiet on his social media for a while now, which feeds the idea that he is busy filming Love Island. His latest Insta post was published on the 23 August, which shows the MAFS fave bungee jumping, ofc with a shoey.

There’s no doubt in our mind that it would be truly entertaining to see Al make a return to reality TV, especially on Love Island.

This season of Love Island Australia will be set in Spain for the first time since 2018, with Season 2 being shot in Fiji and Season 3 in good ol’ Byron Bay. The show will also follow a pre-recorded format.

So with the OG villa, some reality TV editing, and a possible Al Perkins appearance, I think Love Island will defs fill that void The Bachelor/Bachelorette has left in my heart.
