Appearing on The Late Late Show with James Corden, former pop princess, Alanis Morissette gave her hit track ‘Ironic’ a lyrical update for the modern world.

The duo donned Morissette’s trademark red beanie and pig-tails combo from the Ironic film clip and included references to Snapchat, Twitter, Uber, Amazon amongst other first-world problems.

Ironic was released in 1996 and the Canadian-American singer is currently doing the rounds to promote the 20th anniversary re-release of her album Jagged Little Pill.

The new updates to the song are a great way to appeal to the younger generation!

Ironically, Corden made an ironic reference throughout the rendition of Ironic with ‘It’s like singing Ironic, with no ironies‘. Ironic, huh?
