The New ‘American Horror Story’ Theme Has Been Revealed & It’s Straight-Up Horrifying
It’s that time of the year again, when the theme of American Horror Story is revealed and we’re left to wildly speculate about what to expect.
We can all agree Cult sucked and Apocalypse was only slightly better but it looks like Ryan Murphy is finally going back to the series’ horror roots, dropping the news that the next series will be titled American Horror Story: 1984. Yaaaaaaaas.
Here’s the first terrifying teaser:

So what exactly does 1984 mean? Well *cracks knuckles* 1984 was an iconic year for the horror movie genre, with some of the most influential horror films ever released coming out in this sacred year. Above all, it was the year of the slasher, so expect some hectic Friday the 13th meets Nightmare on Elm Street scenes.
Being set in the iconic ’80s is going to see the show embrace nostalgia like other successful series Stranger Things. We’re praying the show goes back to its roots and brings out a season to finally rival Asylum.
Overall, we are extremely here for this!
