Am I dreaming? Is this real? Or am I inside a Leslie Knope fantasy sequence? Amy Poehler and Nick Offerman are reuniting to cohost a reality competition celebrating the most underrated form of self-expression: craft-making.

Nope. We’re not even shitting you.

The two Parks and Recreation faves have even starred in a cute teaser for the new series, titled Making It, to air on NBC later this year.

“I like people who make things,” says Poehler.

“And I love to make things,” replies Offerman. “So we’re hosting a new show on NBC where incredibly talented people are going to have a friendly competition.”

It honestly looks like a diehard DIY dream, which will bring together a bunch of crafty people who specialise in fabric, paint, metal and wood to compete against one another.

Each episode will consist of two projects designed by Poehler and Offerman, with the winner being crowned the inaugural ‘Master Maker’.

“At the very most, you will fall in love with our makers, get introduced to a world you may not know anything about, and even get inspired to make something at home!” Poehler told EW.

“At the very least, you will learn what vellum is.”  “As a woodworker myself, I’m awfully proud to showcase all these talented Makers and be reunited with my charismatic pal Amy to boot,” said Offerman.

“The question is: Is America thready for this? Strap in, our show will be pun-heavy.”

Making It will premiere 31 July in the U.S, with an Australian airdate unconfirmed.

It’s going to get brutal. Don’t forget the glue gun.
