The Gang Are Thriving In Trailer For ‘Sex And The City’ Reboot ‘And Just Like That’

In exactly a week, Sex and the City’s reboot series And Just Like That will finally drop, and we couldn’t be more excited to catch up with our favourite fab four three.

Sadly, Kim Cattrall won’t be stepping back into the stylish shoes of Samantha for the series, but basically everyone else is on board. Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, and Kristin Davis will all be back, as will the actors playing their husbands: Chris Noth, David Eigenberg, and Evan Handler. William Garson’s Stanford will also return in some capacity, however the actor tragically passed away while filming was under way.

So what can we expect from the new series? A new trailer has just dropped and it’s the best one yet. From what we can draw from the brief teaser, all of our couples — Carrie and Big, Miranda and Steve, and Charlotte and Harry — appear to still be happily married 11 years since we last saw them in Sex and the City 2. Sorry to bring back bad memories, but we move on!

Carrie is now hosting a podcast with non-binary standup comedian Che, who’s played by Grey’s Anatomy’s Sara Ramirez. Other updates include Charlotte trying to climb the social ladder by making a new friend, Miranda struggling with the concept of having it all, and Carrie discussing public masturbation… so, thankfully the ‘sex’ part of Sex and the City isn’t getting overlooked in the revival.

Most importantly, Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte are still besties. In short, it looks like a super wholesome season!

And Just Like That will feature 10 episodes, with a second season expected to be announced in the following weeks. It’s rumoured that the SATC writers are hoping that Cattrall will rejoin the series for a potential Season 2.
