One of Australia’s biggest influencers Anna Paul has shared some news that will leave you devo. After spending eight years together, the OnlyFans creator has split from her boyfriend Glen Thomson.

Her announcement was short, and she looked a bit awkward as she delivered the news. “So Glen and I broke up. Yup. We were together for eight years and I know that my relationship is a relationship that you guys look up to… we still love each other, so much. It was a mutual breakup. We’ve been together since we were 15, and now we’re 24,” she said.

“Glen left today. I wanna make a video explaining everything, because our breakup video got 30 million views, and breakups are hard. But do you know what’s even more hard? When 30 billion people have something to say about it… We can’t believe how nice you guys are being,” she said. “The parents have gotten a divorce, but we’re gonna be fine, okay?”

1. “The breakup was mutual.”
Anna apologised to fans for not including them in the breakup decision, joking that she should’ve “run it by [them]” first. She added that while it may have been a shock for fans, it’s something that’s been “a long time coming”.

Fans have been questioning why Anna and Glen didn’t seem too upset during their breakup video, but Anna says the pair have shed a fair few tears off camera. “Trust me, we have both mourned this breakup multiple times. It’s not a new shock to us.”

“There’s so many rumours circulating, ‘Glen cheated on Anna’, and that ‘Glen posted on his close friend’s story that he cheated on Anna’ and ‘Anna has no idea, but now Anna’s gonna find out’. Anna urged fans to “respect” their decision, and said she didn’t want to constantly see people asking her to get back together with Glen in her comment section. “I know every TikTok I’m gonna post in the next year, the comments are just gonna be like, ‘Get back with Glen, we miss Glen’. Please don’t do that, it breaks my heart.”

8. “The only thing that is hurtful and damaging are the conspiracy theories.”
When it comes to celebs, fans can’t help but speculate and gossip, but Anna said it was taking a toll on both her and Glen.
“Glen called me into the gaming room yesterday. He’s like, ‘Anna, can you come in here? I’m really sad.’ Of course, I was in there… he’s like, ‘People have made fake screenshots [saying] I’ve cheated on you. I’m really sad, and I don’t want people to think that’,” she said. “I’ve been getting the messages too. Like, ‘Can’t believe you let him go, you skank, you slut, you’re never gonna get anyone’.”
Anna called those TikToks “damaging” and “not nice at all”, saying that Glen isn’t used to such backlash online.
“I’m used to getting those types of comments and I’m used to being on social media and seeing fake things, but Glen is not. He’s not used to people attacking him and making up rumours about him. So please don’t.”
