The Aquaman Trailer Just Dropped & It’s Basically Just Sharkboy Without Lavagirl
A bunch of exciting trailers dropped at San Diego Comic-Con over the weekend, and one of the most anticipated was Fast & Furious director James Wan’s Aquaman.
It’s an exciting little preview of what to expect from the film which will be released around Christmas.
However, something seems a bit…fishy. In the trailer we see Aquaman as a young boy discovering he can communicate with sharks.
Where have we seen this story before?
This is exactly what happened to Sharkboy when he found kinship with sharks in the masterpiece film, Sharkboy and Lavagirl. We gotchu, Wan. We gotchu.
In the upcoming flick Jason Momoa will star as the title character, alongside Amber Heard as Mera, Patrick Wilson as Ocean Master, along with Willem Dafoe, and errr… Nicole Kidman.
Aquaman is set for release on 26 December, 2018.
