Ariana Grande Drops Track About Her Exes, While Pete Davidson Addresses Split On ‘SNL’
Just in case you thought the drama between Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson was finally over, turns out Ari was sitting on a track dedicated to her exes.
The song, ‘Thank U, Next’ is a banger but it isn’t subtle about which exes the pop star is referring to. She lists them by name, including lyrics like: “Wrote some songs about Ricky/Now I listen and laugh/Even almost got married/And for Pete I’m so thankful.”
Listen below:
Fans were quickly calling the song a diss track, but Ariana tweeted that the track is not only a positive tribute to her exes, but that she had given the guys a heads up and let them listen to the song before releasing it.
no drags…. no shade….. jus love, gratitude, acceptance, honesty, forgiveness … and growth ?

I’m shook, but it seems Ari isn’t wanting to throw her exes under the bus as most of the song is about how grateful she is for the men she’s dated.
In the spirit of healing, Pete Davidson briefly addressed the split on the latest episode of Saturday Night Live, saying he wouldn’t be talking about it again.
He said during the segment:
“The last thing I will say is, I know some of you are curious about the breakup but the truth is, it’s nobody’s business, and sometimes things just don’t work out, and that’s OK,” he said.

“She’s a wonderful, strong person, and I genuinely wish her all the happiness in the world. Now, please vote on Tuesday.”
The SNL statement follows Pete saying some shady things about his ex in a previous episode, which led to Ari tweeting an absolute roast, posting “for somebody who claims to hate relevancy u sure love clinging to it huh.” The tweet was later deleted.
Let’s hope this is the end to all this petty behaviour, although I’m low-key living for it and hating myself.
