Ruby Rose has been unveiled as the new face of Urban Decay, just months after the brand chose Gwen Stefani to collaborate with it.

The ‘Orange is the new Black’ star has been chosen by the famous cosmetics company, known for its popular Naked eyeshadow palettes, to be its new ambassador.

The Aussie beauty announced the news on her Instagram account yesterday by uploading a pic from the shoot with the brand.

The DJ turned Hollywood actor slipped out of her orange jump suit and into a sexy sleeveless leather biker jacket, flaunting her colourful tattoos, as she gazed into the camera lens with her heavily done-up face.

But the 29-year-old star isn’t just brand ambassador as she’s also teased a potential collaboration on a beauty line.

She hinted on her social networking site:

“People are going to freak out when they see what we have coming.”

Meanwhile, Ruby’s signing to the brand comes just months after Urban Decay partnered up with singer Gwen Stefani.

Stefani became the cosmetic brand’s first ever celebrity collaborator after she was plucked by the company’s Chief Creative Officer Wende Zomnir to work with her and the team on a limited edition collection.

Gwen recently said:

“When Urban Decay came to me to collaborate, I immediately knew it was a perfect match. The way they’ve built their company is very similar to my aesthetic and approach.”
