BREAKING: Aussie Legend Sally Pearson Has Been Ruled Out Of The Rio Olympics
Australian Olympic champion Sally Pearson will miss the Rio 2016 Olympics after suffering a hamstring injury in training.
Pearson – one of Australia’s greatest Olympians and the fifth fastest 100m hurdler in history – was a genuine chance to take home a third-successive Olympic medal after triumphs in London (gold) and Beijing (silver).
The 29 year-old’s sporting future is now uncertain, with reports she is “not thinking too far ahead.”
Fresh hamstring for Sally, on the other side to her past problems. Bad tear. She's crushed. Says she's not thinking too far ahead.
