Aussies & Brits are getting absolutely roasted on TikTok, for using the term “F*CKIN MINT” to describe something as ‘ideal’ or ‘perfect’.

The trend sees TikTok users describing a crappy situation that relates to the everyday struggle, and then saying “F*CKIN MINT” with an OK symbol gesture.  When you’ve been dating a girl for six months and she cheats on you with your best mate? FUCKIN MINTTTTTTT.

According to knowyourmeme.com, the phrase first blew up in 2006, after a meme of Aussie Politician Kevin Rudd went viral that featured the phrase.

While us Aussies would use this term to describe, say, a mint night out, or to tell a mate how great Bali was (“it was f*ckin mint aye”), TikTok fans are using it otherwise.

Ok guys, we get it. Using a herb to describe a situation is random. You can stop now.
