This Vanity Fair Cover Story On Margot Robbie Is A Declaration Of War Against Australia

Margot Robbie is featured on her first cover of Vanity Fair. Yay, right? Not so much, after you actually read her cover story, which reads like a 12 year old pre-pubescent boy wrote it, and his knowledge of Australia goes as far as Crocodile Dundee.

The article written by contributing editor Rich Cohen is equal parts sexist to Robbie and just blatantly insulting to our fair nation. Here’s a sample:

“Australia is America 50 years ago, sunny and slow, a throwback”, adding we “still live and die with the plot turns of soap operas”.

Yep, it’s just bad.

I think we should add “sunny and slow” to our national anthem.

The piece begins by saying some blatantly sexist and bizarre notes about how Robbie looks. Such as:

“She is blonde but dark at the roots. She is tall but only with the help of certain shoes. She can be sexy and composed even while naked but only in character.”

It’s a total outdated cringe-fest and Aussies on Twitter are fucking filthy with it.
