Aussies On Social Media Had Some Hectic Reactions To Maria From ‘Yummy Mummies’

Last night Australia met some mummies, and yep, they were indeed pretty yummy.

Yummy Mummies had its anticipated first ep last night, but was it worth the wait? Maybe, but we’re not 100 percent convinced.

The mothers-to-be are just as rich and self-entitled as the promos led us to believe but they’re also just clueless when it comes to motherhood. The premiere introduced us to Lorinska, Rachel, Maria and Jane, three of which are pretty boring.

The two episodes followed the ladies as they mostly just talked about how much money they have, and how much money their husbands will give them for rearing a child.

There’s the obvious comparison to equally OTT rich women is the Real Housewives franchise – but in contrast the Yummy Mummies felt forced and less sincere in their interactions and even more scripted than their Housewives counterparts. If that’s even possible.

Mostly Twitter had A LOT to say about Adelaide mum-to-be Maria – who was by far the most interesting out of the four women.

She’s a woman that’s tough to define. She’s rude. She’s bossy. She’s abrupt. It’s obvious from scene one, that deep down she’s a massive bogan but who really cares when your house is filled with enough Versace to fill the Colosseum.

Tbh, I bloody love her and especially her off-the-chainz mum Margherita. But she had viewers divided.

Here’s some of the mixed responses on Twitter:

While you might love to hate her, she is incredibly watchable. Let’s pray we get to see much more of Maria and her ‘cool mum’ Margherita in the next eps, as Maria takes on motherhood one Versace onesie at a time.
