Australia’s Eurovision Entrant Has Been Revealed & Yup, We’re Gonna Win
You beauty! SBS has just revealed that Australia’s entrant into the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest will be… Jessica Mauboy!!!!
Next year’s competition will be held in Lisbon in Portugal, and we can think of no better representative than our Jess! She’s got the pipes, the stage presence and she’s no stranger to the Eurovision stage either.

Australia’s history with Eurovision has been a whirlwind trip. Beginning with decades of intense fanfare our humble nation was finally included in the competition a few years ago, first as a wildcard and now as a regular entrant.
We started on a high with Guy Sebastian, with his toe-tapping banger ‘Tonight Again’, which landed the original Australian Idol in the top five.
Just when we thought Australia had peaked, Dami Im came along with epic ballad ‘Sound of Silence’ and snagged second place – although many agreed she deserved to win. It was arguably one of the most pitch-perfect performances the competition has ever seen.
This year Isaiah Firebrace’s entry ‘Don’t Come Easy’ didn’t quite light up the Ukraine, but awarded Oz a respectable ninth place, which is nothing to be ashamed by. Fingers crossed Jess has got the goods to take us to gold.
