The ‘Australian Survivor’ All Stars Have Relaunched The Towel Challenge In Support Of The Stroke Foundation
Australian Survivor: All Stars cast members Lee Carseldine and David Genat have relaunched the towel challenge in support of The Stroke Foundation after Lee’s mum died from a massive stroke.
Lee was told about the devastating news while filming All Stars, and the emotional episode where Lee found out about his mum aired last night. Lee made the choice to leave the competition, saying a teary goodbye to his tribemates. Sadly his mum died before he made it back to Australia.

Last year David Genat challenged his Australian Survivor co-stars to strip off in the “towel challenge” after he shared a photo of himself with a strategically placed towel. Others jumped on board the challenge with their own various takes on it, including Survivor host Johnathan LaPaglia.
The Golden God is bringing the challenge back, but this time for a good cause – to raise awareness and money for The Stroke Foundation with the aim to raise $77k for stroke research.
David has called out a few well-known names to kick the challenge off including everyone’s favourite TV host, Osher Gunsberg.
In an interview with 10 Daily, Lee said he couldn’t thank David enough for his generosity. “He gets stuff done — he does it in the game and he does it in real life, as well. For him to bend over backwards and give up his time, even when he’s so busy at the moment to do this… I can’t thank him enough.”
