‘Australian Survivor’ Legend Jordie Gave A Wholesome Interview About Fatherhood
He may have been left disappointed after being one of the latest contestants to have his torch snuffed on Australian Survivor: Heroes V Villains, but Jordie ‘The Joker’ Hansen has no regrets about his second stint on the reality show.
Speaking to POPSUGAR about welcoming his first bub with fiancée, Sam Frost, the 25-year-old tradie reflected on how his first appearance in Blood V Water in 2022 changed his life for the better, as he met his wife-to-be through fellow contestant and Sam’s brother, Alex Frost. Talk about fate!

“I do think that was always the plan,” Jordie told the publication. “Call me Mystic Meg, but I’d like to think there’s a greater plan at work, and I think that’s been shown in the last 12 months of my life.”
Looking back on the emotional scene where Sam told him via video call that they were expecting a healthy baby boy, the dad-to-be revealed that it was the moment everything changed for him.

“Win or lose, it very quickly became about setting an example for him,” Jordie explained, adding, “It puts everything in perspective.”
“He’ll be able to look at that and go ‘oh, wow. My parents were so excited!’” he said.
“Hopefully he can have an impact on this world, and learn from my mistakes. I’m just excited, and I feel very lucky to have this opportunity.” Nawww!
The reality TV crossover couple announced the exciting news that they were expecting back in September and revealed that they’re set to welcome their baby boy in March (any day now!).
Tbh, we can’t wait to see these two cuties as parents!
