Holy Blindside, Locky From ‘Survivor’ Is Going To Be Our 2020 Bachelor
OK, this is an absolute blindside we didn’t see coming. It looks like Channel 10 and Warner Bros have gotten together in a tribal council and the vote has been cast: Locklan ‘Locky’ Gilbert of Survivor fame is going to be our newest Bachelor.
If you’re feeling a little shook, you aren’t the only ones. Locky was of course on this season of Australian Survivor: All Stars and was eliminated and sent to the jury on our screens just last night. But not only that, it was heavily rumoured that he and fellow contestant Brooke Jowett fell in love while filming Survivor and were dating. But we guess not?!

The news dropped early this morning after Channel 10 sent out a press release, but unfortunately there’s been no trailer uploaded yet of Locky swinging on a vine in a jungle that then turns into a long-stemmed rose.
I mean, you can already imagine the slow-mo runs in every opening, but instead of it being through the jungle and splashing through water to try and win a challenge, Locky will switch it up to beach jogs while pondering about true love. What is it? Does it exist? Does it feel better than finding an immunity idol?
Speaking with 10 Daily, Locky said finding love was his new priority. ” I haven’t met that one person that makes me want to settle down. I do want to settle down, but I don’t think I’m going to do that until I find the right person.”
And in the press release, Locky cited he was after finding a best friend. “I’ve got best friends, but I want to find that one best friend that I can spend the rest of my life with. This is an amazing opportunity to hopefully find someone special at the end,” he said.
Now we just need at least ONE episode where JLP pops up to help Osher host Locky’s hunt for love.
