Zach From ‘Australian Survivor’ Posted Sexist Remarks About Tribe M8 Paige & Fans Are Pissed

Survivor is a wonderful and truly addictive series, but every season there’s typically one person that grates soo deeply on my nerves that I contemplate giving the entire thing a miss.

This year it is Zach.

The guy is like a walking/breathing bottle of Lynx Africa. He’s just the embodiment of toxic masculinity and the ‘boys club’ mentality, and is actually too cringe to even watch.

Last night the boys, led by Zach, planned to blindside Paige, but were shocked to see the women unite to vote off oddball Steve instead.

In the ep, Zach made a lewd comment about Paige’s ass and was just generally gross, belittling and sexist. In an effort to errr… apologise for his words, Zach posted the following (now deleted) post on Instagram.

The comment reads:

“I would like to issue a public apology for the comment I made to Paige on last night’s episode of Australian Survivor because some people were clearly offended.

“I just want to say, it was all taken completely out of context and I would never actually say something like that to Paige in that way. Because she’s like a 6, and I would only say stuff like that to 8’s and above,” he wrote.

Are we still doing this?! Maybe this shit flew in high school, but the guy is 39-years-old.

People are pretty grossed out with Zach’s misogynistic behaviour and online bullying of Paige:

Overall fans are pretty damn pissed this guy is even allowed on TV:

With the women now holding the majority on the Contenders’ tribe, we wouldn’t be surprised if the ladies aim for Zach to get the chop next tribal council.
