Turns Out “I Love You 3000” In ‘Avengers: Endgame’ Has A Deeper, Hidden Meaning
Little known indie flick Avengers: Endgame continues to attract more and more fan theories every day.
Warning: Major Endgame spoilers ahead my good friends.
One of the cutest but also most devastating lines in Avengers: Endgame is when Tony Stark’s daughter Morgan tells her father “I love you 3000”, a line that gets repeated later in the film under much more somber circumstances.
But what does it mean? This Twitter user might have cracked the case, putting forward the theory that 3000 is the rough sum of the running times for all the Marvel movies that have come prior.
Look at the total run time for all the MCU movies. “I love you 3000”. Can’t cope… #AvengersEndgame pic.twitter.com/A6nj6bGaNd

Mind. Blown. Sure, it could be a massive coincidence but that is some very fun use of maths.

There’s another popular theory that is even more upsetting. During the scene when Tony puts Morgan to bed, he first says “I love you tons,” and she replies “I love you 3000”. A ton is 2000 pounds therefore Morgan is saying she loves him even greater than a ton.
When Tony says “I love you tons” she says “I love you 3000”
A ton is 2000 pounds. Saying I love you 3000 means she loves him more

The emotions! It hurts!
Knowing what we know happens at the end of Avenger: Endgame, I am very much not okay.
this just in, the sentence i love you 3000 is cancelled from the human language due to the emotional distress it causes me, that is all, thank you
