Most people head to their school reunion trying to boast about how good their lives are and what they have achieved. But Tony Abbott won’t be able to hide the fact that he has had a shocking week and lost his job when he hosts his 40 year reunion tonight.

TheVine.com.au‘s sources can confirm that the Saint Ignatius College Riverview Class of 1975 40 year anniversary will be going ahead tonight at Kiribilli House. Yes – that’s right, just to rub salt in the wounds, Abbott has had to follow through on the event just days before he moves back into his Manly home.

It is understood that the the former students will gather at the North Sydney Hotel before being bussed to a ‘secret location’ which is apparently not so secret any more.

Now, I know that some many have no respect for the guy and are sick of him, but you have to feel sorry for the fact that he will have to deal with hundreds of awkward conversations such as “sorry about the job mate” and “how’s the pack-up going?”. Awkward conversations have gotta be 10 times worse than any #libspill.

May his classmates make his night as uncomfortable as he has made our last 2 years! Enjoy Tones.
