Azealia Banks Being Investigated For Nightclub Brawl

Perhaps bringing a more literal interpretation to the phrase “one hit wonder”, Azealia Banks has yet again been placed under scrutiny after allegedly assaulting a nightclub security guard in late September.

Banks has found herself in hot water with the LAPD after being implicated in an investigation into criminal battery following the incident that took place at Los Angeles nightclub, Break Room 86. According to TMZ, after Banks and her entourage were kicked out of the club for “unruly behaviour” and pulling a fire alarm, the alleged assault took place. Security staff from the nightclub claim that Banks was responsible. Take a look at the footage below:

Banks has constantly dominated headlines throughout her career for all the wrong reasons. In July, she took to twitter to publicly rant about her experience at Byron Bay’s Splendour in the Grass and labelled her attendance as “truly a waste of my fucking time”. The firey rapper was also in hot water last month when various homophobic slurs were aimed at a Delta Airlines employee during an altercation.

Azzy’s upcoming US tour was cancelled yesterday but she has promised to refund tickets and return in the near future.
