Another day, another cringe-worthy rant by Azalea Banks – but this time the subject of her attack was Zayn Malik, resulting in a barrage of blatantly racist and homophobic tweets.

Banks took issue with Malik’s new music video ‘Like I Would‘ claiming its futuristic feel was stolen from her ‘Yung Rapunxel‘ video. Taking to her Instagram page, she posted a comparison of images the taken from both their videos, adding:

“Damn Zayn be mood boarding the s**t out of me … I’m not mad about this though. Zayn is a cutie pie.”

She then continues on Twitter, rambling about Malik and in typical ‘Banks style‘ throwing disgusting slurs at him, even calling him names like ‘sand ni**er’ and ‘fa**ot’.

She’s a classy chick.

Since her offensive remarks, she has been dropped from next month’s Rinse FM Born & Bred Festival line-up, which she was headlining in Hackney, London. So, that’s encouraging.

This is far from the first instance of Banks stating her offensive opinions. Away from her regular beef with Iggy Azalea, last year she yelled at a flight attendant calling him a ‘fucking fa**ot’, labelled the LGBT community as the ‘gay white KKK’, and said that she wanted to pepper-spray a gay man in the face.

Funnily enough, this didn’t result in her getting kicked out of any future gigs.

But looks like taking aim at an ex-1D member was her biggest mistake, with Zayn’s colossal fanbase having no time for her imagined Twitter war and swamping her Twitter handle with abuse.

As usual, she has learnt from her mistakes…
