It Turns Out ‘Bachelor In Paradise’ Won’t Be Hitting Our Screens Just Yet
Say it ain’t so! It appears the release of the 2020 Bachelor In Paradise season is being delayed temporarily so we may have to wait a little longer before we start living vicariously through hot singles sipping cocktails and trying to find love.
Originally reported by TV Tonight, BIP was meant to air after Australian Survivor: All Stars wrapped up and before the premiere of MasterChef. However, the site reported that Channel 10 will now include two weeks of specials featuring COVID-19 content before the premiere of MasterChef on April 13.
It’s yet to be confirmed whether the current coronavirus pandemic has affected the filming schedules of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette.
A Network 10 spokesperson told TV Tonight:
“Do not panic. You will still get to see your favourite bachelorettes and bachelors when they return to paradise for romance, scandal, betrayal and – for three couples – true love. Bachelor In Paradise has wrapped production and will air in the coming months.”
So it may be a mystery as to when we do get to see it, but I for one will be ready to escape into a different world for a little while. Bring. It. On.
In good news however, Channel 10 has announced they’ll be dropping new and classic shows across the 10 Play network over the next 10 days to keep us all distracted while we’re in iso.
Until then, I’m off to set my Spotify to “ocean sounds” and practice making mojitos so I can pretend I’m on a beach in paradise.
