Bachelor In Paradise’s Jake Defends Sending Flo Home & We’re Confused
Last night’s tense Bachelor In Paradise rose ceremony saw Jake do a massive backflip after convincing Flo to keep him on the show. Instead, he surprised everyone and sent her packing.
In the aftermath, Flo was quick to say in interviews that she is officially DUNZO with Jake, saying “I’ll never trust him again and can’t be friends with him,” she told PopSugar after her early exit
Now Jake has spoken to WHO to address what happened during the rose ceremony and it sounds like he reckons Mack choosing Ali was what put the entire plan out of whack.
“We sort of thought we all knew who everyone was picking and I was picking Megan, that was 100 per cent but Mack at the start picking Ali stuffed everything up and as you can see down the line, we all start freaking out like holy shit, what are we doing now?”
“So as it came down to Michael [Turnbull] and myself, I think there was Leah, Flo and Megan [left] and Michael started telling me under his breath that he’s going to pick Megan and my exact words were ‘do not pick Megan. I’m picking Megan. If you do it, I’ll kill you.’”
Ummm. We don’t know what to believe here. None of this was heard on the microphone. All we heard was Jake telling Michael to pick Flo. Jake continued,
“It threw Jarrod off, you know Jarrod was fuming and then as it went down the line, I knew that I was going to be giving the last rose and I definitely didn’t want to make an even tougher decision between Leah and Florence you know and that’s what Michael was trying to take away from me.”
This is some confusing BS. So Jake didn’t want the opportunity to save Flo? The girl that secured his spot in the show in the first place.
Also, we all saw on camera that he was begging Michael to choose Flo? Does Jake know these things are recorded?
The only thing I can figure out is that by Mack choosing Ali, rather than Leah, this forced Jarrod to pick Keira. Did the boys plan on originally sending Keira home and keeping Flo??
Who bloody knows…..I need a moment.
