Bachy’s Sam Is Giving Away Tara’s Engagement Ring & He May As Well Kick Us In The Heart

When will the pain stop. After announcing they had broken up two weeks ago, Sam Cochrane has posted on his Instagram page that he is giving away the engagement ring he gave to Tara Pavlovic in the Bachelor In Paradise finale.

Sam posted a picture of the ring, along with a caption saying he would donate it to charity. He is just kicking us in the heart at this point.

Sam also said a few vague words about the breakdown of his and Tara’s relationship, which we will now analyse to death.

“The last time I held this ring there was so much electricity and hope in the air. I remember holding it and believing that I was doing something important and something that mattered,” he wrote.

“That something was love. After allowing time to pass and the things I’ve discovered I can see that those moments weren’t destined to last.”

Okay so wtf does “things I’ve discovered,” mean? There is some shady subtext lying in this message and WE WANT ANSWERS.

Over the past week, Sam’s mum has said some spicy things on Instagram regarding the split. She responded to a comment saying:

“You cannot imagine the story behind it [the split] and I opened my heart and home. I can’t say anymore… please understand. There is so much to it”.

WhAt TF DoEs ThAT mEaN?!?!

We do know that both Tara and Sam have unfollowed each other on Instagram, and Tara has deleted every photo of Sam off her feed, so this may suggest it didn’t end so amicably.

Sam has donated the ring to The Banksia Project, a prevention and recovery organisation that focuses on men’s mental health.

“It’s time to move on and having the beauty sit in a box, when it could be be doing good for others in need. This is really important to me,” he wrote.
