Bachy Boys Matty, Lee & Jake Have Rallied Around Georgia Love, As Her Mum Fights Cancer
The final three blokes on The Bachelorette have expressed their support for Georgia Love, after her mum was admitted into palliative care suffering from pancreatic cancer.
As revealed on Monday by Network Ten, “Georgia and her family are going through a very difficult time with serious family health issues.”
“They are focusing on supporting each other during this hard time and we kindly ask you to respect their privacy.”
As expected, the bachy boys have rallied around Georgia, during this sad and difficult time.
Lee Elliot told News Ltd:
“My thoughts and prayers are with her and her family,” he said. “Obviously this is something we discussed throughout the show, the illness with her mother.
If what I read is correct it’s not sounding particularly great for her mother and I feel sick about it, I really do.”
While Matty Johnson added:
“It’s been awful, it’s just the worst news possible,” he said. “I wasn’t aware of the severity of (her mum’s illness).
I wish there was something I could say which would make the whole situation a bit more manageable for her but there’s not.
I hope she knows that not just myself, but all the guys involved in the show are thinking about her right now and sending love and prayers her way.”
Jake Ellis’ mother has also battled serious health concerns and echoed the boys sentiments:
“They’re going through a really tough time and I know they really want their privacy but we’re all obviously thinking about her and her family,” he said.
On Thursday night’s episode we’ll meet Love’s father and sister as they get to know the final two men. What will happen after the finale is still unconfirmed at this stage but Georgia is expected to cancel the scheduled media commitments during this difficult time.
Are thoughts are with Georgia and her family.
