US President, Barack Obama has named his favourite choon of 2015 and as expected, it’s a popular choice.

In a fresh interview with People magazine, President Obama said his favourite song of the year was Kendrick Lamar‘s ‘How Much a Dollar Cost.’

The song is from Lamar’s most recent album ‘To Pimp a Butterfly’ which also features an expletive-laden swipe at Obama on “Hood Politics.

First Lady, Michelle Obama has also had her say, giving the nod to Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars’ smash hit ‘Uptown Funk‘ as her song of 2015.

Fortunately, us Aussies can experience the Kendrick Lamar experience in the flesh in 2016, when he heads Down Under to headline Byron Bluesfest.
