Bella & Bec From ‘The Bachelor’ Have Finally Explained Why They’re No Longer Besties
A new season of The Bachelor might be about to kick off, but that doesn’t mean we’re done obsessing over the petty feuds between last year’s contestants.
While the Bachelor for 2020, Locky Gilbert, wasn’t the most exciting choice, the drama between the ladies kept us coming back. There was constant tension brewing between the final three — Bella Varelis, Bec Cvilikas, and winner Irena Srbinovska — and by the finale, Bella and Irena were barely on speaking terms.
It appeared that Bec was firmly on Team Bella, as following filming Bec and Bella moved in together. After the show aired, they posted constant selfies and appeared to be living it up in their shared Sydney home.

Then suddenly fans noticed that the selfies had stopped. Bec and Bella haven’t posted a selfie together in three months and have unfollowed each other on Instagram. Bec moved out and back to Queensland. It looked like their friendship was over. We write a lot about reality TV relationship splits, but often friendship breakups are just as messy.
So what went wrong? Reality TV site The Wash attempted to get to the bottom of the feud, asking each party what happened.

While Bella maintained that “Sometimes friendships grow apart,” Bec hinted at something more sinister, saying “We’re just two different kinds of people”. I need to know more!
Thankfully, we don’t have much longer to wait to be able to witness more messy friendship drama break out when the new season on The Bachelor begins on July 21.
