MasterChef was hard to watch this week. I only cried seven times about Sarah Tiong being eliminated and every episode after that felt like a punch in the heart.
After failing to impress the judges while replicating a curry from Chin Chin, human ray of sunshine Sarah departed the show and left us in mourning. Following that, the remaining contestants were presented with a mystery box “smoke” challenge which saw general chaos ensue – even Reynold wasn’t spared in this weird experiment gone wrong.
The immunity battle was all about pumpkin which saw Laura return to her one true love: pasta, of course. However the real drama came when Jock was NOT impressed with her dish of choice, calling it a “yawnfest”. The nerve! Ultimately Reece came through with the goods to be spared from elimination.
