When Beyoncé released her transcendent record Lemonade, aside from every song being absolute perfection – many were surprised with her country track ‘Daddy’s Lessons‘. It was such a great country song, it sounded straight out of Nashville.

The Dixie Chicks were one of the first to cover the hit, and surprised everyone at the 50th CMA Awards on Wednesday, when they performed the song, joined on stage by Bey. She slayz it.

Rumours first surfaced of the team-up earlier in the week, and luckily they were true as it’s an amazing performance, with Beyoncé rocking some serious pearls.

Beyoncé has since uploaded a studio recording of ‘Daddy Lessons‘ featuring the Dixie Chicks to Soundcloud.
