BFF GOALS: How An Unlikely Friendship Blossomed After ‘Married At First Sight’ Finale
While ‘Married at First Sight’ might be over, one thing we can hold on to is the relationships formed from the series. And our fave by far is not one of the happy couples, but Andrew’s exes Lauren and Cheryl; who are fast becoming besties since the finale.
It’s the classic ‘hoes before bros’ situation, after Andrew’s behaviour (and lack of remorse) both women have bonded over their experiences. Meeting at the reunion dinner, they hit it off straight away, swapping stories about what they thought of the controversial firefighter.
Lauren has even taken to her Instagram to confirm Cheryl and her are now BFFs, posting an image of the two enjoying champers at the dinner, even adding the hashtag #bestiereunited. Remember: hashtags don’t lie.
The friendship status of the gals was confirmed by Cheryl herself. In a recent interview with The Daily Telegraph, Cheryl said that she has found a true friend in Lauren.
“Lauren and I have a friendship outside of this and talk on a regular basis,” Cheryl said. “We help support each other post show.”

Cheryl added that she didn’t spend much time thinking about exes Jonathan and Andrew, instead focusing on the friends she has made from the experiment.
“I really couldn’t care less about either of them,” she said.
“I wasn’t excited to go [to the reunion], half the people I didn’t really get along with. The only reason I went was to see the selected few I actually have a friendship with.”
