Bill Is The Only Person In Australia To Be Shocked By His ‘Bachelorette’ Elimination

Last night Ali bid farewell to the wildest rose of them all, Bill Goldsmith.

Bill made an impression on our Bachy Queen early on, receiving the wild rose on the first night, which gave him the power to steal another man’s single date.

But it was his rivalry with Charlie that really got him screentime, with Charlie warning Ali that Bill wasn’t a trustworthy suitor.

Well, we all know how things ended with Charlie so nothing new there, but Bill dug his own grave last week after introducing Ali to his ex ‘Amie from the dog park’ instead of his actual family on hometown visits.

Bill has now been spotted playing a little football in Fiji where Bachelor In Paradise is currently filming, but here’s what he said to media outlets about his time on the show.

Bill told TV Week he was “shocked” by his elimination.

“It was a bit of a surprise but then again I don’t know what the relationships are like with the other two guys.  It was definitely a bit of a shock. It’s never easy to be rejected, but that’s part of it.”

And speaking to Ten Daily, Bill insisted he and Amie from the dog park are really just friends.

“We’re still very good friends. That’s how it’s been for ages, that’s how it’ll continue… good friends, that’s it.”

If you’re sad Bill has left your screens, it looks like it won’t be for too long — Bachelor In Paradise is due to premiere sometime in April next year. But unfortunately we’re yet to find out if Amie will make an appearance.

Honestly, make it happen, it would be iconic.
