Bill Shorten Crashed His Car Over The Weekend After Spilling Coffee On Himself
Man about town and leader of the opposition party, Bill Shorten was reportedly involved in his own #SpillGate over the weekend, when he crashed a car in the Melbourne suburb of Carlton.
The news came via Melbourne talkback station 3AW this morning when a caller named ‘Short Black’ reported it to the breakfast show’s ‘Rumour File’ segment. It’s believed the ALP leader was driving his late mother’s car when he spilled hot coffee on his lap, causing him to swerve in to parked cars. Silly ol’ duffer.
After following it up, the station received confirmation via the leader’s office who were able to confirm that Mr Shorten crashed a Mitsubishi into a number of cars on Pigdon Street in Carlton on Sunday. The details of the incident are yet to be confirmed.
