Blair Waldorf covers Fleetwood Mac, minus her wedding ring
It’s taken a few years, some dodgy styling and interesting collaborations, but Leighton Meester – the woman better formerly known as Gossip Girl’s Blair Waldorf – has finally got her groove back thanks to Stevie Nicks.
In between allegedly marrying Seth Cohen Adam Brody (although the rock she’s been spotted sporting recently pretty much confirms some type of betrothment) and starring on Broadway alongside James Franco and Chris O’Dowd in the revival of John Steinbeck’s Of Mice and Men, she has recorded a dreamy cover of ‘Dreams’ with singer Dana Williams.
Then, later that year, Robin Thicke got hold of her and together they sang about being lonely. One possible reason she could’ve found it hard to “find a mate” may of had something to do with the fact she was styled to look like a horny clown.
It’s a welcome departure from her other adventures as a recording artist. In 2009 she discovered autotune and crooned with Cobra Starship about being a good girl and “hanging in the corner with my five best friends” in what appeared to be a butcher shop.

It looks as if those days are over now though, perhaps due to her global ambassador role with Biotherm and fourth finger bling, which was noticeably absent in her new film clip as she gently strummed her guitar.
