Blake Thornton is an entrepreneur, surfer and all-round ~chill guy~. So, what we thought we’d do was see how far we could push his relaxed vibes, asking that age-old question: “How does Blake Thornton go with playing Forza: Horizon 4 while being grilled and having things thrown at him?”
We found out.
#1 D-O-N-A…Okay, Yep, That’s A Tree
Everyone loves being bombarded with questions whilst playing video games, no? Look behind the deep look of concentration on Blake’s face and you’ll find a man feeling the heat. But we reckon he should get a bonus 10,000 points for managing to only hit two trees while spelling out the name of a fashion icon correctly!
#2 Confetti Right In The Eyeballs
Did Blake think this was just going to be questions about formidable figures from the world of design? Think again. This time, while he was doing approx. 240 km/h, we figured something should be fired in the general direction of what he uses to SEE.

#3 Be Distracted, Responsibly
We knew that there would be some casualties during this undertaking. However, did we think that Blake would drive head-first into a farmhouse? Not really. I would hazard a guess that Blake did not see it coming, either.
He is a pretty cool dude – but there was a suspiciously large amount of joy in those eyes as his car sped into the front door. We gotta put that down to the personality layers that you uncover during a Forza lap, I guess? The man is a speed demon.
#4 It’s My Party, And I’ll Get A Massive Fright If I Want To
So far, Blake had suffered shocks to his eyes, his brain, and his conscience (who lived in the house, Blake?!). But what about his hearing?
Glad you asked. Enter: party poppers – those fun lolly-bag decorations that sound like fireworks to an unsuspecting gamer who is just trying to finish a lap.
#5 A Man’s Gotta Eat
After a while, the sweat and the tears really take it out of you – so you need some food. But it wouldn’t be a Punkee challenge if it was served to you on a plate, like a normal person, so you’ll take your lollies pegged at you from short range, Blake, and you’ll like it!
#6 Ol’ Reliable
What’s the one sound, when delivered in a completely unexpected manner, could completely make your heart stop? It’s gotta be an airhorn, right? For a moment, Blake Thornton, conqueror of waves and of Xbox alike, froze in horror – and took out an entire wooden fence.
#7 The Hero We Didn’t Know We Needed
Blake’s Forza lap truly was a journey, but it ended on a high and pure note. In a last-ditch distraction attempt, a PLUSH DOLPHIN was thrown into the mix – and Blake literally did a double-take, before driving through a number of hedges.
