Cheers to the Grammys for giving us this unforgettable footage of Blue Ivy Carter hushing Beyoncé and Jay-Z. This is iconic.
Here’s what went down: Camila Cabello was on the Grammy stage giving a speech about DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) dreamers, and delivered a particularly powerful line, so people started to clap.
But for one reason or another little 6-year-old Blue Ivy Carter turned to her mum (AKA Queen Bey) and calmly signalled for her clapping to cease, before turning to Jay-Z to do the same. It was a mad power play from Blue and it was hella funny to watch.
