New Zealand All Blacks rugby legend, Jonah Lomu has passed away at the age of 40.

The unexpected news is set to send shockwaves throughout the rugby world.

Lomu is considered one of the all-time greats of the game, earning 63 caps for the All Blacks and is one of the Rugby World Cup all-time top try scorers with 15 tries.

He was inducted into the International Rugby Hall of Fame on the 9th October 2007.

It is believed his passing is related to his ongoing battle with a rare kidney disease, however details are still emerging. Our thoughts are with his family, friends, loved ones and all his fans across the globe.
