BREAKING: Kim Kardashian Caught Photoshopping Images, Social Media Is Fake
Thanks to the curious case of Essena O’Neill, we’re all WELL aware that social media is a complete hoax that makes us miserable, ruins lives and causes cancer, world hunger, alters your DNA – take your pick. According to thorough research I once saw on ‘A Current Affair’, social media is the worst. Damn youth.
Well, add this chip to your shoulder social media h8ers: The world’s most irresponsible role model for women, Kim Kardashian, has been caught (again) sharing photoshopped images. As reported by Mashable, someone in her team of internet manicurists just made the mistake of uploading both an original image and the altered version to Kim’s Facebook page before the original candid snap was removed. #InstaFail.

Thankfully, an internet legend with artistic abilities beyond our own was quick on the scene and put together a gif showing the subtle differences. Clearly exposing the ‘professional celebrity’ in an unflattering frog like animation:

The pic, which was taken at Kendall Jenner’s recent ‘celebrity themed’ birthday party shows subtle differences, which make a fairly large impact to Kim’s perfectly spherical cranium. The smoothed throat and head bumps show the extreme levels of analysis and precision that go in to shaping Kim’s carefully curated social media lifestyle brand. The image shows Kim gives no fux about giving Kanye the same treatment.
It’s not the first time Kim has been caught up in a photoshop scandal. The internet went crazy over this distorted insta-pic which shows a curved door and some wavy tiles in the background.
It’s definitely not breaking news, but serves as another reminder not to let Social Media make you feel bad about yourself. The internet is a great place full of trash like this, but don’t let it get you down. You are great.
