BREAKING: Soundwave 2016 Officially Cancelled

Soundwave 2016 has officially been cancelled.

The news comes just days after promoter AJ Maddah said the festival “definitely” wouldn’t be returning in 2017. This means that Soundwave 2015 was most likely the festival’s last hurrah.

Maddah took to social media this afternoon to announce the devastating news, claiming that he had no choice due to poor ticket sales.

Earlier today, grunge band L7 announced that they were cancelling their appearance at the festival “due to circumstances beyond [their] control.”
