If, like me, you’re currently in a state of loss after The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills came to a crashing end, then this new reality show might just fill that hole in your heart.

Buying Beverly Hills is a reality show on Netflix that feels like the bougie lovechild of RHOBH and Selling Sunset. “[It’s a] new real estate docu-soap following the agents and clients within Mauricio Umansky’s The Agency in Beverly Hills, California,” the brokerage confirmed earlier this year.

Real Housewives fans will know the series’ protagonist Mauricio as Kyle Richards’ loving husband, but in his 9 to 5, Mauricio is the CEO of billion-dollar brokerage, The Agency.

Like Selling Sunset, the reality show features plenty of tours of jaw-dropping houses and mansions around Los Angeles, along with lots of drama between the brokers. The series mostly revolves around Mauricio’s step-daughter and senior broker, Farrah Brittany, and his other daughter and real estate newcomer, Alexia Umansky. There’s a few other characters in the mix, like shifty agent Ben Belack, Alexia’s ex Joey Ben-Zvi, Farrah’s housemate Melissa Platt, and my personal fave character Brandon Graves, who is often the voice of reason.

I’ve already watched the series and it really does feel like watching Selling Sunset but with Kyle’s family in the cast — a perfect intersection of my interests tbh. It should be noted that Kyle doesn’t appear in the reality show, so don’t expect some sweet Kyle/Mauricio moments that we’ve come to expect from Real Housewives. I’d hazard a guess that due to her contract with American network Bravo, Kyle probably can’t randomly cameo in a Netflix show.

But even without Kyle, for the outrageous real estate alone, the show is worth the watch.
