Caitlyn Jenner Named The New Face Of H&M Sport
Caitlyn Jenner has been revealed as the new spokesmodel for H&M Sport.
The transgender former Olympic athlete – previously known as Bruce Jenner – shared her exciting news with her fans on her Instagram account.
Along with a photo of her modelling a gym outfit from the range, Caitlyn wrote:
“Backstage with @hm! Can’t wait to show you more of this inspiring and amazing campaign. Stay tuned (sic)”
H&M has described their newest spokesmodel as “strong and beautiful”.
The Swedish clothing company been a champion of diversity recently with transgender model Andreja Pejic walking in their fashion show just last week.
This isn’t the first modelling job Caitlyn has secured, she also has a partnership with makeup brand MAC.
The 66-year-old TV personality’s own signature lipstick, called Finally Free, will be out this year and 100 per cent of sales of the product will benefit the MAC AIDS Fund Transgender Initiative.
Speaking about the collaboration, Caitlyn – who was previously married to Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner – previously said in a statement:
“MAC was the first to come to me, and a company, I realised, would really make a big commitment. I knew the Viva Glam campaigns; I saw that the proceeds were going, in those cases, mainly to AIDS and HIV causes, and I was wondering if they were interested in doing something specifically geared toward trans issues because we need funding.
MAC is a global company. It’s in places around the world where not just trans issues, but women’s issues, are a major subject that you have to talk about.”
