Powerhouse pop vocalist Camila Cabello has called out football fans in a series of deleted tweets, leaving Camilizers (Camilla stans) to fend off hooligans.

The pop princess has gotten herself in a little predicament, after she recently performed at the 2022 UEFA Champions League Finals between Liverpool and Real Madrid. According to The Independent, the singer was booed during her performance.

Following the performance, Camila took to Twitter to, in the words of Mean Girls, word vomit up her thoughts on the crowd’s reaction.

The singer accused the football fans of being “rude” for chanting and singing over her performance. “Very rude but whatever. IM GLAD U GUYS LOVED IT!!!!!” the pop star tweeted followed by a bunch of celebration emojis.

Eventually Camila deleted the tweets, but as the internet works, fans had already managed to snap a pic of the damning tweets and boy, people were pissed.

Both fans of Real Madrid and Liverpool have shaded the pop star, labelling her as “self-absorbed” and “selfish”.

Camilizers have come to her defence, with some speculating that fans were in a foul mood after being pepper sprayed outside the stadium.

Other users compared Camila’s performance to the violin scene in Titanic as chaos erupted outside of the stadium.

The singer has since posted that she is thankful for performing at the championship game with the other dancers and musicians. She hasn’t responded to the criticisms of her now-deleted tweets, or the treatment of fans outside of the stadium. Yikes.

From her humble beginnings on American X Factor, Cabello began her music career when she was placed in the girl group Fifth Harmony. From here, the group dominated the charts with bangers like ‘Work From Home’ and ‘Worth It’. Camila then went on to pursue her solo career in 2016, finding huge success with her debut single ‘Havana’ and scoring a role in the 2021 remake of Cinderella, starring alongside Idina Menzel and James Corden.

She was also previously in a steamy relationship with fellow singer, Shawn Mendes, and the ex-couple collaborated on ‘Senorita’ before announcing their breakup late last year.
