Celebrity Apprentice proved to be a ratings winner for Channel Nine when it premiered earlier this year, so it comes as no surprise that the show will be back in 2022.

The combined powers of Camilla Franks, Martha Kalifatidis, David Genat, and The Veronicas was nothing short of drama dynamite — making for sensational reality TV. On Wednesday, Nine confirmed the show would return and dropped the first three celebrities who will be making an appearance.

So, without further ado, the first contestants are Turia Pitt and radio duo Will McMahon and Woody Whitelaw. Turia is known for her advocacy work, best-selling books, and motivational speaking; while Will and Woody have a popular drive-home show on KIIS. It’s unknown whether Will and Woody will compete as a pair — like The Veronicas did this year — or as individuals.

Lord Alan Sugar will be returning, as he is currently quarantining in Sydney ahead of filming. “Lord Sugar is back in Australia to film Celebrity Apprentice, his travel and accommodation is all within the guidelines for exemptions which are outside the caps,” Nine said in a statement. “The exemptions and quarantine are in accordance with all government protocols and requirements.”

The 2021 season of Celebrity Apprentice crowned Shaynna Blaze as the winner — raising a massive $475,000 for her charity — with Ross Noble coming runner-up.

With filming about to commence, the upcoming season is expected to premiere in the first half of 2022.
