Channel 9 Reporter Gets Soaked During Live TV Cross

Channel 9 sports reporter and NRL darling, Erin Molan got an unpleasant surprise this morning.

Whilst preparing for a live-cross for the Today Show, the sprinklers at The Gabba unexpectedly started dousing her and her crew in cold water.

The soaking occurred shortly before she was set to appear on air to discuss Day 1 of the Australia Vs New Zealand test match in Brisbane.

The show then crossed to a miserable and soaked Molan who was far from impressed. Trying to laugh it off, she accused their network rivals at Channel 7 of turning the sprinklers on.

It’s fair to say Carl and co-host Sylvia Jeffreys had a good old chuckle at her expense. Watch below.
