Channel Seven Is Copping Online Hate After Shooting The Dutch Flag
Channel Seven News made things real awkward during their coverage of the Paris Terror Attacks yesterday, mistakenly using the Dutch flag behind their news coverage.
The incorrect red, white and blue flag was added for dramatic effect behind the reporters along with distasteful bullet holes to fuel the drama. You would have thought they would have at least tried a Google search to find the correct flag? It’s really not hard.
The blunder has gained attention on reddit with local and international comments calling the station ‘stupid’, ’embarrassing’ and ‘dark shames’. Some punters are going as far as labelling all Australians as idiots. Good one Seven.

The below image was shared on imgur where it’s been viewed over 362k times and is filled with over a hundred comments slamming the station.
In the scheme of the crisis, that has now claimed the lives of 129 innocent people, it really isn’t the biggest issue at hand. But channel seven had one simple job, report the facts and don’t fuck it up. As you can image, twitter had some things to say about the incident.
