Every so often a series comes along that truly captures our attention like no other and Netflix’s docuseries Cheer is that special.

The six-part series follows Navarro College’s competitive cheerleading team as they prepare for the NCA Collegiate National Championship in Daytona.

Along the way we meet some quirky team members like precious angel Jerry, always sassy La’Darius, Insta-cheerleader Gabi, rookie Morgan, and wild child Lexi — all training under the guiding hand of their coach Monica.

To say that Cheer is addictive would be an understatement. I started episode one over the weekend and binged through the whole series in one night. I’m not the only one obsessed with this show and the memes are perfection.
