Chrissy Teigen Said What We’re All Thinking About Snapchat’s Sinking Ship
It’s been a downward spiral for Snapchat as of late, and joining the ranks of celebs who have jumped ship we now have Chrissy Teigen. And her parting gift was a rough (but fair) roasting.
Remember back when Snapchat was THE BEST and they seemed to understand what we wanted and would give us the goooooood shit and cute filters and we all got along and were happy. Why on earth is someone at Snapchat headquarters on a mission to burn everything to ground?!
I maintain that there is a double agent who has infiltrated and is destroying the company from the inside… but that’s just a theory.
Jumping on the bandwagon, Chrissy took to Twitter to announce that she is officially DONE with Snapchat.
I stopped using snap. The update, the constant complaints of people not being able to find me, plus the Rihanna poll…no bueno

And she’s not cutting any more slack for them.
Except concerns have been brought up for months and this isn't different from any other company where quality affects sales. Everyone has been very vocal about the changes and frustrations. Consumers shouldn't *have* to work with companies beyond that.

The most recent update is the real foundation of the shit show and I think we can all agree that it’s undeniably terrible. That’s when Snapchat lost Kylie Jenner (and cost the company about $1billion).
Then earlier this month there was the real kicker, when Snapchat had to take down and apologise for a revolting ad featuring Rihanna and Chris Brown that made light of domestic violence, pissing off everybody, and copping heat from Ri-Ri herself.
Rihanna reprimanded Snapchat for making the ad and then trying to pass it off as an “error” instead of just straight up apologising.
She posted to her Instagram story, “You spent money to animate something that would intentionally bring shame to DV victims and make a joke of it!”
Cue Snapchat’s valuation dropping by $800 mil in the day following the singer’s takedown. Tread carefully Snapchat.
Now more and more celebs that were once high profile Snapchat users are jumping ship and tbh they need a miracle to turn this big ol’ mess around.
Why not start with reversing the recent update!!! Just a thought!!!
