If anyone was going to make dumping a bunch of his girlfriends and quitting a reality show early look wholesome and sweet, it was Farmer Andrew.

And boy, did he do just that when he told producers to stick it, and (figuratively) rode off into the sunset with his new lady love, contestant Claire Saunders on Sunday night’s episode of Farmer Wants A Wife.

Farmer Andrew made FWAW history when he broke the premise of the show by dumping Jessie Noble and Sarah Roach and choosing Claire to (hopefully) settle down with. At the time of filming, Claire accepted the non-existent cash prize and took up his offer to move from her city dwellings to his expansive farm.

And now fans want to hear directly from the horse’s mouth about where Claire and Andrew’s relationship stands now.

We have some good news for those who still believe in love: Claire and Andrew are still happily together, in fact, they’re thriving!

Claire told 7Life that as soon as she got back to her hometown of Tassie, she “packed everything up” and caught the first, erm boat to see Andrew, which is admittedly on brand for the newly minted farmer WAG.

“I caught a ferry to the mainland and met Andrew in Melbourne and we drove off to NSW and I’ve been here ever since”.

In the sweet joint interview, Andrew added that his and Claire’s future is “positive and bright”. Their nauseatingly cute post-FWAW tour didn’t stop there either, with Claire telling the publication that marriage and babies are “definitely on the cards one day”.

Claire shared the same sentiment in a Woman’s Day interview, and she really hounded home the fact that she’s looking to get knocked up ASAP.

“It would be nice to have twins first up, and then see what would happen after that.”

However, Andrew appeared to pull in the reigns a little by dropping a vague line about enjoying their time together before taking the next step.

“We’re approaching it with the mindset of, ‘Let’s enjoy one another first for a period of time and make memories of our own and if things keep evolving in a positive manner, then that’ll come,”‘ he told the women’s magazine.

Despite not screaming about babies from the rooftops like his newfound love, Andrew made it clear that he and Claire are happily together.

“I couldn’t have asked for anything more,” he told 7Life.

“We share a very similar sense of humour but Claire is also kind, caring and she works really hard.”
