CONFIRMED: Lee & El From Australian Survivor Are Actually A Couple IRL
As Australian Survivor heats up, and alliances become paramount, it turns out the strongest alliance in the game are actually: a couple IRL.
We knew it!!
They’ve been close since the outset, but it’s been confirmed today that single parents Lee Carseldine and El Rowland have been dating since filming finished.
Carseldine told TV WEEK the pair had been sneakily snuggling since the first night on the Samoan island. Shifty buggers!
“We cuddled on day one, and that just kept going,” Lee said.
“That’s probably where the relationship sprouted from.”
El told the magazine that she almost felt that she had been ‘set up’ by the producers, when she discovered Lee was in her tribe, as they were so compatible.
“It was just a feeling I got that I could trust him and he never let me down – he was my rock,” she said.
She also told The Daily Telegraph they clicked straight away.
“We’ve got similar personalities, similar lifestyles and we’re both single parents. We connected on that level and on a life level as well,” said El.
El said straight after Survivor, she found it tricky to see Lee as they weren’t in the right headspace coming off the show.
“Obviously our mental and physical states weren’t right, we both had to juggle being parents and returning to our full time jobs. We’ve thought about the long-term, and he’s definitely someone I’d like to keep seeing,” she said.
The pair have been dating one another since returning home to Brisbane, and have already met each other’s kids. Too cute!
